ENTROPY THIS MONTH
This month Entropy will be on Saturday, 19th June in the
PORTER BUTT on the LONDON ROAD in BATH. Entrance
will cost a mere £3. A fully licensed bar will be open all night.
This month regulars Jim and Ruth are joined by local DJ Ian
(no, not Ian from Resurrection but he may be joining us for a
special night later in the year).
Full details of this month's Entropy, including maps of
where the Porter Butt is can be found on our website:

ENTROPY LAST MONTH
Last month regular DJs Jim and Michael were joined by Jonny, who
last played for us back in February. Clashing with two other local
nights, and Dark Trix meant we lost some regulars and irregulars to
those nights and our numbers were down but everyone _still_ had a
great time.
The end of the night was a strange one with lots of people dancing (with
the main lights on full) to cheesy pop: Daphne and Celeste, Shampoo
and Aqua are obviously more of a favourite than we thought...
The set list (up to 1am) is available on our website here:

After Love Shack, Jim played Barbie Girl, Ooh Stick You, Kandy Pop and
Finished Symphony.
OTHER NEWS THIS MONTH
ALTitude, Bath University's alternative music society (formerly
Nemesis) has had another name change and starting next year will be
called RockSoc. This brings it into line with almost every other
university's alternative music society!
The society has had a bumpy ride over the last few years. Nemesis was
originally created as a Goth/Industrial society. Over the years it's
become more inclusive but struggled to change the perception that its
"that dodgy Goth society". Last year's change to ALTitude was the
first step but many didn't know what it really stood for. Hopefully
this latest change will be the first of many good things that'll push
alternative nights at the Uni back into fore.
