ENTROPY THIS MONTH
This month Entropy will be on Saturday, 21st August in the
PORTER BUTT on the LONDON ROAD in BATH. Entrance will cost
a mere £3. A fully licensed bar will be open all night.
Ruth will be joined by Jonny playing indie and Jamie (Gomorra,
Elysium) playing EBM, Goth and dancy tunes.
Full details of this month's Entropy, including maps of
where the Porter Butt is can be found on our website:

ENTROPY LAST MONTH
With a couple of birthdays, a nearby house warming and a boycott on a
local club, we expected to get a few more people than usual but we
weren't expecting to get our biggest turn out at the Porter Butt to
date! The venue started filling up early and by 10 o'clock nearly 50
people had come through the doors and more just kept on coming! By
midnight we were nearly at capacity.
A few people danced before 10 and people started wandering on and off
the dance floor at about half past. After 11 there was always someone
dancing. A thoroughly good time was had by all I spoke to and we look
forward to seeing you all back next month. Many thanks to everyone
that came along.
OTHER NEWS THIS MONTH
Guest DJs:
Always striving to present you all with a little variety and quality
we've lined up some cracking guest DJs for later this year. Our 3rd
birthday party (deep in the planning stages) will play host to Lee
Chaos (Chaos Engine, Wasp Factory). Lee DJed at our very first Entropy
and it'll be nice to have him back. In November Entropy will play host
to Bath's premiere Indie DJ, DJ Beanz (Fusion, Resurrection) again, we
can't wait for it!
Infest:
One last reminder that InFest 2004 (Fri 27th - Sun 29th August) is on
at the end of the month. Tickets and accomodation are still
available. More information is available on their website:
http://www.infestuk.com
Flier Competition Continued:
Last month we kicked off a flier competition but there have yet to be
any entries! We'll let the competition run for one more month. If no
entries are forthcoming noone will win...
Each flier needs to be 614 pixels by 800 pixels and needs to look good
in both colour (for posters) and black and white. The flier should
clearly have the "Entropy" logo (which is in the '1979' font) and note the
date, cost of entry, times, and the date of the next Entropy. Designs
should advertise Entropy on Saturday, August 21st (the next Entropy
after that will be Saturday, September 18th). For inspiration and past
fliers you can check out our gallery:
http://www.curiosity-shoppe.com/entropy/gallery.shtml
The winner will get a CD of his or her choice, and free entrance to
any Entropy advertised by their flier! Email entries to
jim.grimmett@curiosity-shoppe.com.
