[Entropy] Newsletter, May 2005
Dear All,
Welcome once more to the Entropy newsletter. If you're
receiving this letter it's because this email address has been
subscribed to the Entropy Announce list. If you did not
subscribe, or wish to unsubscribe, please email
jim.grimmett@curiosity-shoppe.com and Jim will remove you
from the list.
ENTROPY THIS MONTH
This month regulars Jim and Ruth are joined by Seven's very own Lucky
13. His influence should result in a heavier Entropy this month but
never fear: Jim and Ruth will keep the rest of you bouncy, poppy
people happy - we guarantee it!
Full details of this month's Entropy, including maps of
where the Porter Butt is can be found on our website:
http://www.entropybath.co.uk
ENTROPY LAST MONTH
Last month was fairly quiet compared to other Entropy's this year
thanks to being in the middle of the Easter holidays. Even so, by 11pm
the place was rocking along as usual. Jim and Jonny's tunes made
Entropy a more indie-slanted night than usual but Ruth kept our
EBM, Goth and Industrial flag nailed firmly to the Entropy mast for
all to see.
OTHER NEWS THIS MONTH
BIG GIG!
RockSoc at the University of Bath are putting on another BIG GIG night
this month including (hopefully) Hell Is For Heroes, Midasuno and
Chalk Four. Last year's event was a huge success so I'd expect no less
from this one!
Tickets cost £8 for NUS members and £9 for the rest of us. Email
rocksoc@bath.ac.uk for more details.
New Web Site
Last month I mentioned that we'd be giving our web site a once over
and I actually managed to find time to do it. We've moved from the
curiosity-shoppe.com address and can now be found solely at
www.entropybath.co.uk. The site has had a spruce up and now links
through to our AltBath forum and has a brand new flier viewer - have a
gander!
For those of you that care about these things, we've basically got rid
of lots of old markup and started moving towards full CSS. Believe me
it makes our lives A LOT easier ;-)
