Dear All,
   Welcome once more to the Entropy news letter. If you're
receiving this letter it's because this email address has been
subscribed to the Entropy Announce list. If you did not
subscribe, or wish to unsubscribe, please email
jim.grimmett@curiosity-shoppe.com and Jim will remove you
from the list.

ENTROPY THIS MONTH

There will be no Entropy in January 2007. As with previous years we
find that people just don't want to go out in the first weekend of the
month - the New year hangover is a long one... We could run Entropy on
a different weekend, but we'd then be clashing with other nights we'd
like to attend!

We will be running Entropy on SATURDAY 3RD FEBRUARY at the
Porter Butt on the London Road as usual.

ENTROPY LAST MONTH

As we said in last month's news letter, November was very quiet. We
clashed with a lot of nights and bonfire parties and so we kept our
fingers crossed that people would be back in numbers in December.

Our optimism was rewarded as more people came along, but still not
enough to avoid us losing a little money. Over the last few years
Entropy's costs have risen but we've kept our bargain entry price
of only £3 per person, as well as introducing cut-price entry for
card carrying members of RockSoc and MusicSoc. Our absence for nearly
a year hasn't helped us but we're hoping that being back at the Porter
Butt regularly will see our regulars trickling back as they realise
that they can enjoy the eclectic, fun-filled box of delights that is
Entropy EVERY MONTH once again.

We're going to stick at things for a while but if numbers don't pick up
by the middle of the year we may well be forced to shut down. So, if
you like Entropy and want us to be there for those lonely winter
nights next year please come along and show your support! If you're
not coming along to Entropy we'd love to know why not and what would
get you back through the doors. Any comments will be gratefully
received at jim.grimmett@curiosity-shoppe.com
