 Welcome once more to the Entropy news letter. If you're

ENTROPY THIS MONTH

Doors open at 8pm on SATURDAY, 5th MAY at the Porter Butt on the
London Road in Bath. This month regular DJ Jim is joined by locals
Ruth and Dav0.

Ruth hasn't DJed for us so far in 2007. As a long time favourite it
was time we asked her along again and she graciously accepted our
invitation to play more of her unique mix of tunes.

Dav0 only played for us in March but he went down so well we fancied
having him back again... can you really have too much of a good thing?
His standards are high so expect another top quality set this month.

As usual expect indie, some industrial and EBM, maybe a few rock and
cheesy metal songs and almost certainly more well known music as the
night draws to a close.

ENTROPY LAST MONTH

Thanks to a double booking April's Entropy was on Good Friday. As
part of Easter weekend we did worry that people would be heading out
of town for short breaks rather than coming to Entropy... thankfully
we were wrong.

Michael, Jonny and Lucky 13 played to our second busiest night of
2007. The majority of people even made it through the door before
10.30pm had come around!

Thanks for everyone that made it along. We hope you enjoyed it as much
as we did!

NEWS THIS MONTH

Invention Studios... No More Music

It seems that the good fellows at Invention Studisos have decided they
won't be holding any live music shows. In a letter to all promoters
that currently use Invention Studios they state that their committee
feels that music events are not the direction they wish to go in and
they are going to concentrate instead on business management and salsa
dancing.

At the moment we can confirm that this will effect all music related
nights from June 5th including Reinventing Hell and Purr, leaving
Reinventing Hell's May 5th event as their last until a new venue can
be arranged.

Last Ever Go Ape?

For those Thursday night clubbers out there, you might like to know
that Thursday 24th May's Go Ape is billed as "The Last Ever Go
Ape". With comedian Frank Sidebottom, 28 Costumes and Steveless
playing it should be a good night... but will it be their last? First
band will be on at 9.45pm and Frank will be on stage at 10.30pm.
