  Welcome once more to the Entropy news letter. If you're receiving

ENTROPY THIS MONTH

This month regular DJ Jim is joined by local DJs Lucky 13, of
Ignition, Discord and Seven, and Andy, the driving force behind
new night When Robots Attack.

ENTROPY NEXT MONTH

Unusually we'd like to take the time to mention October's Entropy. As
regular Entropy goers will already know, October is Entropy's birthday.
Back in the far past that was October 2001, Entropy started at the
Windows Arts Centre. That night Lee Chaos, Wendy, Kink and Michael
DJed and started something that's (somehow) kept going until now.

Every year we celebrate Entropy's birthday with a fancy dress party
and special guest DJs from around the country. This year will be
no different. The fancy dress theme is Sci-Fi and there will be prizes
for the best costume. Last year's theme was 80s TV Heroes and was won
by Nikki dressed as Eliot from E.T. including bike, E.T. himself and
even an authentic 80s digital watch!

We'll also be graced by special guest DJs Lee Chaos (of Judder in
Cheltenham and Chaos Engine) and DJ Gilly (Mutate, Wendyhouse in
Leeds).

We hope this advance warning gives you all plenty of time to think of,
and make your own costumes, and if you can't be bothered hire or buy
one instead and see if you get lucky anyway! The more the merrier.

ENTROPY LAST MONTH

Last month regular DJs Jim and Michael were joined by irregular local
DJ Dav0 (Discord, Ignition). The night filled up a little more than
has been usual over the last couple of months. It was good to see a
few old friends and faces that haven't been to Entropy for a while
making a return visit.

We hope everyone that came along enjoyed themselves and will be back
for more in the near future!

NEWS THIS MONTH

Cosplay

This month The Hobgoblin hosts Bath's first Cosplay night (that we're
aware of) on Friday 19th from 9pm until closing. The Ignition DJs will
be joined by Michael to provide music for the night. Don't know what

Why not pop down the Hob in your favourite manga costume, or just come
along for a beer and the good music!

Dark Asylym

I don't think we've featured Dark Asylum in Cheltenham before, so its
worth giving them a mention. Running on the first Friday and Saturday
of every month, Dark Asylum offers a Goth night on the Friday night
and a Metal night on the Saturday night. Three DJs alternate all night
to offer a wide range of music.

If you're up Cheltenham way and haven't been yet, why not pop along
